Even though that this is something that has been planned for long time comings, I believe that the hacker attack is a wake-up call for us to start over.

Many key members were deleted due to this hacker attack, and it would make a further mess of things than it already is. Which is one of the primary reasonings why I chose to restart anew. I will keep the old forums up, as I did with the even older forums, while I eventually experiment with the possibility of having most of the older content available through the vault.

With new forums comes new features, Previously, we've run only on Vbulletin 3.5.2 now we're running on 3.7, which is pretty much brand new and more advanced.

As you can see, I'm still in the process of rebuilding things up, but it's enough to get this forums going.

Since that we are starting off a new coding slate, expect quite a few features that has been disabled for almost two year on the forums.

I hope that we can continue to grow and revive, even though the activities has been woefully stagnant as of late. For quite a while I've considered with the possibilities of giving up.

And for those that are wondering, yes, we will still eventually transfer to a new server, but it should be a much easier transition to transfer this forums database, rather than the old one that are just so full of database bugs that I can't even fix.

For now, the staff positions will remain the same.

So go on ahead, and register and re-introduce yourself in the Check-in and start posting threads!

Please bare with me, as I work on restoring the settings and options as we had before, especially with avatars, signatures and such.

Like before, in order to prevent people from leaching and such, Everyone must make 10 posts before they can get avatars, and download attachments.

As I said before, there will be quite a few features that will certainly be culled as I work. Most of them are features that no one uses anyway.

I'm already discovering an amazing number of features!

There's picture albums, and social networking group. Geez, Vbulletin could easily be transformed into Facebook wide scale O_o. Imagine that.

Also, I will be setting up a new blogging system in two weeks, but this system will be the best yet.

Okay, UEF Access clearance has been made, and because of the current situation, I set the requirements to 1 post. just post once, and you will be given avatars and the goods (including album and social networkings)

Sounds and looks good so far Gio :D Just giving you my two cents on the matter. It's all SHINEY!! lol Also, yes, all the extra features not on the old version look pretty awesome. But good transfer, it was exceptionally easy to make the move over for me anyways. Here's hoping that everything continues to go well, and that we have lots of new people joining. (Yes, new people, not bots lol)

Looking good so far.
And the new CAPTCHA should be harder for bots to pass. :)

Awesome!

Here's a little known fact: I get an email for everytime a new person registers here, whether it's a bot, a spamvertiser, or an actual person.

If I have to make an average of number of registrations a day, it would be 15. ~_~

Om nom nom nom nom.

Just found another feature, called User Infraction system.

This pretty much allows staffers to warn others, and when enough warning 'points' is given, they will be given an automatic bancake. This is definitely a perfect tool to help combat the spamvertisers.
