I'm hope I'm not absorbing all of the awesome of this show (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metalocalypse) by myself. Anyone else watch it?

Skwisgaar Skwigelf's and Toki Wartooth's little arguments are fudgin hilarious. Stop copies me! :D

I actually despise the show. It was ok at first much like Aqua Teen Hunger Force then it just got annoying.

Oh yes. Love the Dethklok. I kind of vaguely knew about the show from seeing advertisements and hearing friends in the dorm talk about it. Then I played Thunderhorse on GH2 and decided I needed to actually watch an episode. Loved it.

My BFF watches it religiously, so I've absorbed a lot of it vicariously. Although I don't really consider myself a fan, I definitely support the awesome that it is.

I've fallen behind in my viewing, but it is an incredibly awesome show.

Bodi needs to see it.

I think I'm just become a huge Brendon Small fan (He's the guy that created this show and Home Movies)

By the way, I had an opportunity to see Dethklok in concert in San Antonio but I blew it off because I couldn't imagine what a cartoon concert would be like (I've never been to a Gorillaz concert, either). Has anyone been to one of their concerts? How was it?

The show's pretty funny... Especially, during times when they make fun of each other or do funny crap. I just saw the episode with Pickle's brother's wedding (or was it his cousin - I don't recall)

Anyways, it was funny as hell...

Hilarious (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cf4OAqS5ycw&feature=related) video where Murderface meets Rockzo the rock n' roll clown for the first time (It's short, only like 21 secs) :D

While I'm necroing threads...

Honestly, I was EXTREMELY impressed with the live show. Essentially you have a massive screen in the background which plays a "live" music video type thing of each song. Most videos were reworked based off the footage for each song from the show.

The actual band is below the screen, and due the lighting, you hardly notice the live band unless you actually try/want to. Every time I would look up from the pit, I'd just see Dethklok... I wouldn't see the actual band. It was a really well designed setup, I truly felt like I was seeing Dethklok instead of some normal guys playing Dethklok.

Musically, the songs were really good live, I'd venture to say better than their show/album versions. Every now and then Brendon would talk to the crowd as Dethklok. It was insane seeing him switch between voices so flawlessly, he would have conversations with himself.

Also there was a plot line for the entire concert, almost making it like an episode. Clips before/after/between songs, etc. Not to mention they had the chef and manager walking around the crowd.

You missed a great show, you should see them if they tour again.
