Name that game soundtrack

[Bodomi]

So, the idea of this is very simple.
Someone posts a music track from some game and others try to guess the game it is from.
If someone gets it right, he/she may post a new track.
If no one has guessed the track after 7 days it is posted, you may add a new track.
Rule change: Anyone can post anything at any time, but only one track at time from one person.

Europe didn't get Legend of Mana? Hm. I like "Pain the Universe" track better. It's a pretty good soundtrack overall. Impressive when compared to the quality of some other PS games. Explosive music, kind of reminds me of Star Ocean.

2 wasn't that impressive. I had all my upgrades way early and a bunch of random canisters, and it would be inefficient to change. And I didn't like the lack of XP. The skill system was fun, too bad games are drifting from that. But I am waiting for 3 in hopes of a little redemption.

So, when you start this game. You see some princess walking around woods, she gets kidnapped by evil ninjas.
The hero shows up just as they left the scene, and that where the game begins.

So, you're facing bunch of evil ninjas. I guess you're playing some sort of ninja as well. You can jump really high. And if you climb up the trees, you can jump across the treetops.
Your weapons are some short swords or such, you can use them to block enemy attacks as well. And you can throw shurikens.

I remember beating the NES version of the game some time, though I just tried it. It's hard. o_O

That I do, it's from Final Fantasy XI, and while I know it's used for Chocobo Raising, when you're taking your chocobo out for walking, I think it's also used when you're catching a fish, but I'm not 100% sure. I know chocobo's music are involved with that.

Arcade, C64, CPC, MSX, SMS, ZX. (And I don't think that's a complete list either.)
My track comes from Commodore 64 version.

You guys fail, KM got it. It IS Goldeneye, in multiplayer. I picked the hardest Goldeneye track I could find.

Also, GIO TAKAHASHI WHAT LE FOOK I can't even karma KM for a right answer and I hardly EVER karma him. FIX THE STUPID SYSTEM. If I can't karma somebody I hardly ever karma because I just HAPPENED to karma him recently, IT'S BROKEN.

I knew it was from Goldeneye but like I said, I couldn't think of which part of it was. It almost sounded like the second stage of the game. Heh...

I would, but it's more fun to be able to sequence them to their more naturally tune. Especially the older games, that is why I enjoy midis more for the NES, SNES, Gensis and other older systems.

How would sequencing them in MIDI do that? With mp3 or ANY lossless format, you get the sound you heard out of your TV speakers (sometimes, even better quality than that) when you first plugged the game into your console.

Oh and want to know anther reason why I don't use MP3s? I don't want to buy the program, I don't want to pay for drivers/software/hardware(mainly MP3 keyboard and other things.) and learn it. I'm kinda lazy/cheap.

According to gamefaqs, the game was only released in Europe.
I haven't even played it, but I liked the soundtrack for it.

I found out about it on Zophar's Domain's forums years ago. So it may be from the time you visited them briefly. I don't know how else you would know it.
