It’s been a long, long winter, and all you can think is “Man, I’m seriously fucking bored”, so of course, the obvious course of manly action is to watch some fucked up porn to show how manly you are while fapping in a manly way.
Of course, you aren’t a manly man at all, but I mean, that’s obvious because you’re looking at this thread. So pat yourself on the back and continue reading on, because your top level warrior that strikes fear into others proves otherwise.
So, to help contribute the knowledge, I’ve wasted precious hours of my nerdy amazing exciting trying to collect as much of the new series being pushed out the door. I say as much due to the fact I refuse to watch some of them, because I’m way too awesome to stoop to their level. Srsly.
So read on fair readers and enjoy! But beware, I am in no way responsible if you stop going outside due to trying to catch up on all the new series. But of course, we don’t need to worry about that because you’re not likely to go outside anyway. The big sun is sure scary right?
Without further ado, let’s begin shall we?

This is your warm and fuzzy anime of the fall. No, seriously, it is, they literally shove the moe down your throat while yelling at you “AREN’T I KAWAIII? NOT YET? HERE HAVE SOME MORE”.
I suppose if you had to compare it to something, it would be Lucky★Star, both are simple, cute, and don’t require much thinking at all to watch, and unless I’m mistaken, both started as 4koma’s at one point. I suppose it’s a bit confusing my saying so, considering unlike Lucky★Star which feels like a 4koma animated, this on the other hand does not. It actually has a story that seems to span the series duration.
The basic concept boils down to a group of 4 girls in highschool who have decided to keep the “Light Music Club” together (“shockingly” enough, they are the only 4 members of the group) and decide they want to create a band. One problems, the main character, Yui is useless has no idea on how to play an instrument. Told you the story is nothing complicated.
As I’ve already mentioned, the series carries a warm feeling and is highly likely to leave a smile on your face, if not just out of pure cuteness overload.
On a different note, believe it or not, the series is pushing out one of the best ending themes of this fall. Seriously, it’s amazing, only Eden of the East tops it (but more on that later).
Personal Opinion: It’s actually a good series, but also I’ve always found myself drawn towards slice of life series while other people end up hating the stuff. Overall, I’ll give this series a B+ and I won’t be surprised if I follow it to the end.
For those who want: Something to fill the void that Lucky★Star left that doesn’t include dressing up like Konata

This is, without a doubt, the must watch anime of the Fall. So…start watching it K? K.
What, you wanted more? How about the fact it carries the title for having the best opening and ending of the group, and is possibly one of the best visually, not to mention a confusing, but satisfying story.
Really though, I would try and explain the story, but I can’t figure out how the hell to explain it, considering I’m still confused as hell on the fourth episode (though they do gradually fill in details). I’ll try my best to concoct a plot summery to stop you guys from complaining. God, ok, let’s start this, ok, anytime now. In the near future (2010) a TERRIST Terrorist strikes Japan (why does everything happens to Japan?) with a missile attack which is now known as “Careless Monday”, the series starts a few months later, with Saki Morimi running into some random naked guy holding nothing but a gun and a odd looking phone carrying over 8 billion yen. Fucked eh?
The series just holds an amazing charm and aura about it, the characters are likeable, and the story is fairly gripping and actually makes you care (or I suppose curious would be the right word) about what happens next.
I would continue on, but seriously, why are you still reading this instead of watching it?
Personal Opinion: Yes, yes, I know, technically this whole post is a personal opinion. Get fucked. This series is the real golden egg amongst all the ones that are just painted, really, I know some people will say otherwise, but I love this series already. It’s more than enjoyable, and I really, really want to rewatch the opening. Now when the hell is the next episode coming out.
For those who want: An anime version of the Bourne movies. Aka, something fucked up but equally as epic. But really, it is fucked up.

So much potential, it’s a shame that it almost feels wasted, but I’ll forgive its mistakes due to how heavily it used Alice in Wonderland as a reference.
Say hello to Oz Bezarius, heir to some random duke or something, didn’t really pay too much attention to that part, what is important is that he’s having his “turning of age” ceremony at 15, and CRAZY shit happens. Some strange people come crashing into the party, only to fight off some GIANT ASS Rabbit carrying a two handed axe, aka, Alice, aka B-Rabbit, who decided to help Oz for her own gain. Oz get’s thrown into the Abyss, shit wants to eat him, Alice and he make a contract, aaaand I still have no clue what’s going on.
Yeah, I have no idea how to explain the plot line. I mean, what I just talked about makes perfect sense if you watch the first 3 episodes, but otherwise, not so much.
BUT, it’s all good, Alice is a tsundere.
Visually, the show is lacking, characters seem somewhat diverse, but what really kills it for me are the jokes. When the show actually gets serious, I enjoy it, I really do, BUT, they keep throwing these jokes into play and I find them more distracting then anything. When they do get serious, the series is actually quite gripping and has a good atmosphere to it, so we’ll see.
Personal Opinion: Eh’, I’ll probably continuing watching it just for the convoluted storyline, that and the fact I love anything related to Alice. This is one that’s honestly on the wall, on one hand, as fucked up as the story seems, it’s actually pretty entertaining, on the other hand, like I’ve already mentioned, the comedy falls flat most of the time, at least for me it does. Currently, I would say there are better things to watch this season, but this does seem interesting as things are.
For those who want: a tsundere Alice.
More to come tomorrow, I got to get ready for work in like 30 minutes anyway.

Stop trying.
It’s a remake. That’s right, you’ve seen this before, or I suppose I should say you’ve seen half of this before. That’s correct; this is a remake of everyone’s beloved Full Metal Alchemist into a series that actually follows the original story of the manga.
So really, what can I say about it? The story is the same and is only really heavily affected in the second half the series, which of course, we aren’t there yet. So I sort’a got to comment on a series that I’ve already commented on in the past. It’s still a solid, entertaining series, there are a few differences, but for the most part, it really is the same series as before up to this point.
I really don’t know what to say, I mean, I’m still finding it entertaining even if I’m getting an amazing sense of déjà vu (shocking isn’t it?) while watching it, even though, somehow they’ve managed to make it feel fresh, though that could easily be because I’m not right in the head.
Personal Opinion: Have you seen FMA yet? No? What’s wrong with you? But if that’s the case, might as well keep updated with Brotherhood. Yes? Well, it get’s difficult here, I’m personally enjoying it even though I’ve seen it before, the few subtle differences are enough to keep it somewhat fresh. At the very least, I would say jump onto the series in maybe another episode, so you’ll be able to watch what I suppose could be considered the “true” ending half of the series.
For those who are looking for: Steampunk madness with a side dish of déjà vu.

Ok, pop quiz time! Your about to watch an anime featuring clichéd features, from the picture above, what do you believe it contains?
A)Feminine looking males
B)Amnesia
C)Possible gay relationship
D)Giant fucking weapons
E)Villain that’s trying way too hard to be evil
Are you finished picking your answer? Well, you’re WRONG! It was a trick question silly; it’s actually all of the above.
Yeah, sadly enough I’m serious, out of the 6 (of the 8+) series I’ve watched so far, this is really the one falling behind. The animation is sub-par, the story has room to grow but really hasn’t pushed hard enough, and I don’t find myself attached to any of the characters. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying this is a bad series, I’m saying that you’ve seen this before in one way or another, or at least anyone who’s seen a decent amount of anime in the past.
Basically, main character has severe case of amnesia, has a single friend, shit hits the fan, there’re separated, HOLY SHIT MEMORY COMING BACK IN PIECES, NEVER EXPECTED THAT! And that’s it in a nutshell, sure, I could talk about how the villain [wtfomgbbq spoiler alert] killed his father for a very obvious reason that they make seem like its not obvious at all, but really, who cares?
Oh, and they fight using magic of their FEELINGS. Seriously.
Ugh, I’m going to stop making fun of talking about this anime now.
Personal Opinion: Like I said, it’s not really a bad series, and it really has tons of room to grow away from its emotional “I’m trying way too hard to be sappy” story. Do I think it’s going to get better? Not really, I have a feeling it’s going to end up like Black Cat, another series that could have been a lot better than it really was. Am I going to stop watching it though? Probably not, I’ve started it, and it’s somehow managed to light a small spark of curiosity. That and I hate leaving series half way through.
