I have not seen The Forbidden Kingdom yet but who do you think would win in a fight between these two?

If anyone has seen Forbidden Kingdom, who won in there? I definitely heard they fight in it.

Oh they did fought in it, and who won? find out ;P

That movie was ever so fantastic, and this is a tough poll as I like them both, but I think I'm gonna go with Jackie Chan.

I must have gone to a different Forbidden Kingdom than you. The one I was just about terrible.

As far as the movie goes, it's not a question of who won (because, predictably, the fight was interrupted), but rather, who never stood a chance in the first place.

All other things considered... Jackie Chan movies are better, but in a straight-up fight, I'd probably give it to Jet. He just seems like more of a "rip your heart out and feed it to you" kinda fighter. Jackie's more of a clown. A loveable clown, but a clown nonetheless...

I dunno. I like Jackie Chan better (I think he's a little more charismatic) but, ya, Jet Li seems to be more serious in his art (not necessarily better, just less goofy with it). I've never seen Jet Li punch a guy and then have to shake his fist off and blow on it cuz the punch hurt his own hand, lol

But as far as whos in in a one-on-one fight, I'm just not sure. Al the movies I've seen Jet Li fight in either use wide-fu or CGI whereas all Jackie's fights are human-powered choreography and he seems to be able to make a weapon out of anything thats just lying around, lol. Hmm... I will have to think on it some more.

By the way, Jakie Chan is now 54, Jet Li is now 45 so being his 9 year junior might go to Li's advantage also.

I do like Jackie Chan more than I like Jet Li, but I can't really pick an answer to the poll. It all comes down to whether Jackie Chan finds some prop to fight with. Has anyone else noticed this? Even in his old kung fu movies, Jackie Chan never won unless he fought with a prop. If Chan has to fight with just his hands on a completely flat arena that stretches out into infinity (realistically, this just means everything that's not the flat floor is too far away to reach within the confines of the fight), then I fully believe that Li will kick his ass. But if he gets his hands on just one thing, or has something that he can utilize in the setting, then Li's done for.

I wanted to make a point about age too, but since they both look so freakin' ancient now, I didn't think there was much of a point.

What happened to the Chan of yesteryear...? ;_;

He's got some crazy mobility for a 54 year old, though. I'll give him that much.

Man, I just can't decide. I guess I'll give it to his decade of youth and say Jet Li but I definitely like Chan more.

Needless to say, Bruce Lee could kick both of their asses.

That's a given. He's the Chuck Norris of kung-fu.
