Participate with the title, yanno. Pictures are fine. Spoilers will happen, so be aware. Valid genres include horror, suspense, and thriller.

I think one of my abiding favorite horror scenes is in The Shining when the blood rushes out of the elevator. (Picture 1)
My second would be in Signs when they come out of the basement and find the alien there. Sure, the aliens are kind of corny, but when I see its reflection in the television and the tense piano music starts, I still get goosebumps. (Picture 2)
Some other good ones...
Session 9... the entire final ten minutes. And all that it entails.
The scene in Jacob's Ladder where Jacob is being wheeled down a hallway littered with body parts.
The final scene in The Dying Gaul when you realize how sinister one of the characters is.
And, of course, when Samara crawls out of the television in Ring.
I'll make a more detailed post later when I'm off work but, in regards to Signs, the only time it game me a wee little shiver is when they found the first video of the alien from Mexico and it walked across the television screen...

That did make me go "eek" a bit, but it's also when I learned how silly the aliens looked, so it diffused that particular scene for me.

first time I saw that got me jumping. Certainly caught me off guard.

Any scene with ghost Kayoko in the Grudge/Juon movies. Any time she makes the deathrattle sound. For some reason the ghost and the sound it makes freaks me out.
Less freaky, but more cool, is the pillar of body parts rising up from the bed in Hellraiser 2, I think it was.
The whole pain=pleasure mystique of Hell.
Ditto for what Ron mentioned...
That's all I can think of for now.
Again, I'll come up with more later (still at work) but the scene in Fire In The Sky where you finally get to see the aliens kinda freaked me out as a kid.

I am terrified of alien flicks...except for the actual Aliens movies. Lol.
Signs scared the crap out of me.
Jurassic Park, in the car for the kids. Scared me until maybe.... never lol. Now that I know exactly how it ends it's not as bad heh.

Oh and in First Contact...ef the Borg lol.
Any scene with ghost Kayoko in the Grudge/Juon movies.
While the movie, as a whole, didn't scare me too much, that first opening scene in the US version definitely startled me. Ya know the one I'm talking about? Where the house keeper goes into the attic and turns around to find...

Yep, exactly. The movies themselves weren't so bad. It's just the ghost that spooks me.
