Well it's official, there will be another LiveAction sequel:

Status: Filming
What did you guys think of the first movie? Did it live up to the original animated movie in your eyes? Are you looking forward to the sequel?
Apparently the leading lady has been ordered to gain some more weight (at least 10 lbs, the radio said) before they start filming her scenes. Has anyone seen her lately? Is she starting to look anorexic?

I might have to get religious again and pray that Shia LaBeouf is killed off.

I thought the first live action movie was ok. I didn't really like the appearance of the transformers, nor did I like Optimus Prime's paint job. But I did like the movie overall and hope they focus more on the robots themselves in the next movie.

Didn't the confirm that this was going to be a trilogy back when the movie first came out?
Anywho, while on one hand I personally love the movie, on the other I absolutely hated it due to being such a Transformers fan. I mean, it's a great movie and everything, but, it's not transformers, it's...a movie with transformers in it.

I actually liked the look of the robots and the action in the movie, the only that bothered me in was some of the cheesy acting parts and the human actors were more of a problem for me than the actual transformers themselves.

I have no idea. I've never kept up with it much. I'm not really a Transformers Fan in the true sense of the term. I'm not against them, I've just never had a special affinity for them and, that said, the liveaction movie seemed kinda bland to me. It was cool to see the special effects but, other than Bumblebee, the other transformers seemed to all share the same personality (just with different voices) which kinda sucks. The only reason Optimus Prime even stood out from the group, in my eyes, seemed to just be due to camera time rather than any actual personality trait.
As was mentioned before, the look that the robots have weren't very attractive to me, either. It was sometimes hard to tell what exactly we, as the audience, were looking at.

First one was okay. It's always fun watching vehicles turn to robots and smash things, so it'd have to be pretty bad for me to not like it at all.
