Now Ary is going to get hooked on an MMO.

Bah, they should just make it for the PC. I'm sick of -ports-. I'm sick of PC games suffering cause they have to divert their time for it to be 'console friendly.' (Aka FFXI)

They should make the game for the PC and then come out with the 360 version or a PS3 version.

Hmm though I have been watching for this and I heard about it. It should be interesting none the less.

yes, it does annoy me how MMORPG game suffers due to console's limitation, and FFXI is a perfect example of this. If you look at character creation, remember the graphics used for the characters? That would've been the graphics in FFXI if it weren't for PS2 (Or so I heard) anyway, back on topic. This does picques my curiosity, and I might play this.

Eh, it wasn't cause of the graphics. I just wanted a better control especially since I was use to more... WoW MMORPGs. :P Though I didn't mind using the controller. It was more relaxing.

Heh, for most gaming I've always preferred controller over keyboard, but I think it's likely that you'll need keyboard for Star Trek. Most of the consoles you can get keyboard with nowadays, I think you could even hook up any keyboard to it, but I'm not sure about that yet.

Eh, I just hope there is massive PVP and be able to take control systems/planets. Go go huge planet side warefare?

That and I do hope that you don't have to get real people to man the posts. I hope you can just hire NPCs....

Or if you are Borg that you have to 'capture people.'

Eh either way it'll be interesting... Especially if you have to follow the laws, especially if you are with the Federation.

It's not a port to any system. It's being developed for all those platforms simultaneously.

But yes, why can't they have a PC version and then a separate console version? Maybe they could just be creative about the graphics scaling since PS3 and 360 are a lot closer to PC graphics capabilities than their predecessors were (comparative to PC graphics at the time). But still, depending on how it turns out (I haven't looked at any media regarding it yet), it might not be an issue.

*coughs* My computer can produce better graphics then even the newest gen consoles. ;) Especially if I ever get vista + direct x 10. xD

Regardless, I know it's not a port but I am just sick of them splitting their time. :\
